At Agritechnica 2025, Zetor placed significant focus on the Series 6, a tractor family already present in the brand’s lineup but now receiving broader international attention.
The range is built around a 4.1-liter DEUTZ Stage V four-cylinder engine that delivers up to 171 hp depending on model. The compact engine layout contributes to shorter overall dimensions, improving maneuverability and maintaining a favorable power-to-weight balance—an important factor for mixed field and transport work.
Transmission and Drivetrain Configuration
Zetor equips the Series 6 with a German-built ZF transmission combining mechanical shifting with PowerShift and PowerShuttle functions. This setup allows the operator to change direction without using the clutch and fine-tune speed transitions in tasks that require frequent reversing, such as loader work or municipal operations.
Hydraulics and Implement Compatibility
The hydraulic system offers multiple configurations, including versions with Load Sensing. The tractor supports common implement demands through a standard three-speed rear PTO (540/540E/1000 rpm) and a strong rear linkage designed to handle a wide spectrum of medium and heavy implements.
Cab Layout and Operator Environment
Inside the cab, Zetor maintains a functional layout with clear visibility and straightforward control ergonomics. Suspension options, improved ventilation and modern control placement are aimed at reducing operator fatigue during long shifts. Cooling components, including a visco fan and updated airflow routing, help stabilize engine temperature under continuous load.
Chassis Design and Year-Round Utility
The chassis follows Zetor’s traditional focus on mechanical simplicity and structural robustness. The company positions the Series 6 as a multi-purpose machine capable of year-round service—field operations, transport, loader attachments, forestry tasks and winter maintenance. This broad utility comes from its compact dimensions, reinforced frame elements and compatibility with a wide variety of mounted and towed equipment.
