Valtra has announced the start of its G Tour 2026, a nationwide demonstration roadshow that will run from February 8 through March 10 across Germany. The tour is focused on hands on field demonstrations of the Valtra G Series equipped with continuously variable transmissions, allowing farmers to test drive the machines directly at local dealerships.
Two models headline the tour lineup: the Valtra G135 Active CVT and the Valtra G135 SmartTouch CVT, both positioned for mixed farming, loader work, and precision agriculture applications.
Valtra G135 CVT Technical Overview for Mixed Farming and Loader Work
The Valtra G135 sits at the top of the G Series power range and is rated at approximately 135 horsepower. It is powered by an AGCO Power 4.4 liter four cylinder diesel engine, designed to deliver strong low end torque for loader intensive tasks while maintaining fuel efficiency in transport and PTO operations.
The CVT transmission allows stepless speed control from field work to road travel, reducing operator workload and improving consistency during tasks such as mowing, spraying, and baling. For farms that rely heavily on front loaders, the G Series chassis is optimized for visibility, balance, and hydraulic response, making it well suited for daily handling work.
SmartTouch CVT Focuses on Precision Farming and Operator Control
The G135 SmartTouch CVT demonstrated on the tour is equipped with Valtra’s well known SmartTouch armrest interface, which integrates tractor control, guidance, and implement management into a single touchscreen driven system. The platform is widely recognized for its intuitive layout and fast setup of field tasks, especially for operators who regularly switch between different implements.
Smart farming capabilities demonstrated during the tour include guidance readiness, task automation features, and front loader control integration, highlighting how the G Series fits into modern precision farming workflows without adding unnecessary complexity.
Germany Wide Dealer Tour Schedule February to March 2026
The Valtra G Tour 2026 will visit multiple regions across Germany, including Deggendorf, Kirchberg Hohenthann, Mainburg, Neumarkt, Fürth, Northeim, Uelzen, Engen, Nürtingen, Wildeshausen, Geestland, Bad Oldesloe, Wipperfürth, Wölfersheim, and Kastellaun. Demonstration times are announced by dealers one day prior to each event.
Registered participants who complete a test drive will also receive a limited G Tour promotional cap, reinforcing the tour’s focus on in person engagement rather than static showroom displays.
