Tümosan New 81 Evo Tractor

Tümosan Unveils New 81 Evo Tractor Series at Konya Agricultural Show

Turkish tractor manufacturer Tümosan has introduced the new 81 Evo tractor series during the Konya Agriculture Fair, marking one of the company’s most important product launches in its 50th anniversary year. The debut signals a clear shift in both styling and product positioning as the brand aims to modernize its image while strengthening its presence in the utility tractor segment.

The flagship model previewed at the event was the 81.105 Evo, positioned at approximately 105 hp, although the broader lineup includes four variants ranging from 75 hp to 110 hp.

New Exterior Design

One of the most noticeable changes is the completely redesigned hood and cab styling. Compared with previous Tümosan tractors, the new Evo series adopts a far more aggressive and contemporary appearance featuring anthracite gray, black, and red color combinations. From an industry perspective, this is a significant move because Tümosan has historically focused more on durability and affordability than premium visual design.

The updated styling suggests the company is trying to compete more directly with European and global manufacturers that increasingly emphasize operator experience and modern aesthetics alongside mechanical specifications.

According to the company, elements of this new design language could later expand into other tractor families within the Tümosan portfolio.

Stage V Engine Platform

All four tractors in the series share the same in house developed 3.9 liter four cylinder common rail diesel engine compliant with Stage V emissions standards.

The lineup includes:

  • 81.75 Evo — 75 hp.
  • 81.85 Evo — 85 hp.
  • 81.95 Evo — 95 hp.
  • 81.105 Evo — 105 to 110 hp class.

Tümosan has not publicly released detailed torque figures, hydraulic flow specifications, or PTO performance data for the series yet, so it is difficult to fully evaluate field capability against established European competitors. However, the use of a common engine architecture across multiple power ratings should simplify servicing, reduce manufacturing costs, and improve parts availability.

The engines are manufactured internally by Tümosan rather than sourced externally, which remains one of the company’s key differentiators in the Turkish tractor industry.

New T100 Evo HD Transmission

The new tractors are paired with the T100 Evo HD transmission, a newly developed 30 forward and 15 reverse powershift gearbox.

While Tümosan has not disclosed full technical details regarding powershift step configuration or automation functions, the transmission represents a major modernization step compared with earlier generations of the brand’s tractors, many of which remained heavily focused on mechanical simplicity.

The company also confirmed that the transmission, front axle, and cab architecture were developed together with international engineering partners, reflecting how regional manufacturers increasingly collaborate globally to accelerate product development.

Upgraded Cab Comfort

Cab improvements appear to be another major focus of the Evo series.

Tümosan claims the new cab offers 1.9 cubic meters of interior volume with a noise level of 79 dB(A).

Features shown on the launch tractor:

  • Fully digital instrument cluster.
  • Electronic controls for hydraulics and differential functions.
  • Air suspended operator seat.
  • Foldable passenger seat with leather upholstery.
  • USB connectivity.
  • Opening sunroof.
  • LED interior lighting.

From a market perspective, these upgrades are important because operator comfort expectations in the utility tractor segment have risen dramatically over the last decade. Buyers now increasingly expect automotive style interiors, electronic controls, and digital interfaces even in mid horsepower agricultural tractors.

Manufacturing Capacity

Production of the 81 Evo series will take place at Tümosan’s manufacturing facilities in Konya, Türkiye.

The company states its factories cover approximately 93,000 square meters of indoor production space with annual manufacturing capacity reaching:

  • 45,000 tractors per year.
  • 75,000 engines per year.

That level of vertical integration remains relatively uncommon among regional tractor manufacturers and gives Tümosan more control over drivetrain development and production costs.

About Tümosan
