TransTrak Launches World’s Narrowest Tractor, Model ST1

August 18, 2025 – Pune, India

TransTrak Tractors has unveiled the ST1 Ultra Narrow Tractor, just 26 inches wide, marking what the company calls a new era in farm mechanisation. Developed over seven years of research, the crawler tractor is designed to reduce labor dependency while offering traction levels comparable to a traditional 55 hp machine.

Capable of replacing multiple solutions — from compact tractors and tillers to bullocks and manual labor — the ST1 is built for inter-row operations in standing crops, handling tasks such as tilling, furrowing, spraying, and soil pulverisation. Despite its compact width, it can pull heavy implements like ploughs, harrows, and cultivators, making it a versatile tool for modern farms.

Initially launched in Maharashtra, India, the tractor will roll out nationwide before reaching Europe and North America in 2026. “We are changing the course of tractor history with an era-defining mechanisation solution,” said Poonam Dhonde, Director of Marketing at TransTrak. The company also highlighted its innovative direct-to-farmer sales and service model, including a fully digital product launch.
