The Pennine Young Farmers Club is gearing up for one of Cumbria’s most anticipated festive traditions — the Christmas Tractor Run 2025, set to take place on Saturday, 22 November, at Kirkby Stephen Auction Mart (CA17 4QL).
Gates open at 4 p.m., with sign-in running until 5:30 p.m., followed by a mandatory driver briefing before the convoy departs at 6 p.m. sharp.
Entry Fees and Participation Rules
Participation costs £20 per tractor and £5 per passenger, with tickets available only in advance.
Every driver must hold a full UK licence, and tractors must be road-legal and insured. No trailers are allowed, and passengers must be 13 years or older, occupying a road-legal seat inside the cab.
Road Safety and Conduct
All drivers must comply with the Highway Code, respecting traffic lights, signs, and roundabouts along the route. Mobile phone use while driving is strictly prohibited.
Anyone failing to follow the safety rules may face future event bans or, in severe cases, legal action.
A Spectacle for the Whole Community
Spectators are encouraged to gather along the route rather than at the auction mart, ensuring smooth coordination for drivers.
The event promises a dazzling lineup of illuminated tractors, combining community spirit with agricultural pride — a perfect way to kick off the holiday season.
Disclaimer
Participation is at the driver’s and passenger’s own risk. Pennine YFC, its trustees, and advisors assume no responsibility for incidents during the event. By purchasing a ticket, all participants agree to the event terms.
