New Holland Unveils All New T7 XD Series

New Holland Unveils All-New T7 XD Series: Power, Efficiency, and Comfort Redefined for Large-Scale Farming

At Agritechnica 2025, New Holland introduced the T7 XD series, a completely new tractor line designed to bridge the gap between compact versatility and high-horsepower capability. With models ranging from 360 to 435 hp, the T7 XD sets a new standard for large-scale farmers and contractors needing performance across heavy draft work, transport, and complex implement combinations.

Global Product Manager Richard Hollins highlights that the T7 XD extends the proven balance and agility of the T7 family into a more powerful segment, offering “the all-round capability to manage demanding PTO, hydraulic, and transport operations with ease.”

Powertrain Built for Durability and Fuel Efficiency

At the heart of every T7 XD lies the 8.7-liter FPT Cursor 9 six-cylinder Stage V engine, a structural unit that eliminates the need for support rails to reduce vibration and streamline chassis design. With outputs of 360 hp (T7.360 XD), 390 hp (T7.390 XD), and 435 hp (T7.440 XD), the range delivers impressive torque at just 1,400 rpm, ensuring high pulling power with minimal fuel use.

A 680-liter fuel tank extends field time, while service intervals stretch to 750 hours, minimizing downtime. New Holland’s updated Auto Command™ CVT transmission allows stepless acceleration up to 60 km/h, reducing travel time and optimizing road fuel economy. Operators can also switch to a semi-powershift mode for applications that demand manual control.

Enhanced Traction, Braking, and Ride Comfort

The T7 XD comes equipped with oil-cooled front brakes, multi-stage engine retardation, and the Intelligent Trailer Braking System, improving control and safety during transport. A new Terraglide™ independent front suspension provides smoother ride quality with active anti-roll and anti-pitch functions.

A standout addition is the integrated Central Tyre Inflation System (CTIS) — a first for New Holland. Operators can lower tire pressures for fieldwork and quickly reinflate them from the cab for road transport using a gear-driven twin-cylinder compressor. This system enhances traction, reduces soil compaction, and improves fuel efficiency.

Hydraulic Power and Implement Versatility

Designed for versatility, the T7 XD features a front lift capacity of 6,100 kg with optional 1,000/1,000E rpm PTO, while rear linkage strength increases by 8% to 11,942 kg. The hydraulic system delivers a remarkable 360 L/min flow rate through a MegaFlow™ dual-pump setup, enabling simultaneous high-demand implement operation.

Next-Generation Horizon Ultra Cab

Inside, operators are greeted by the refined Horizon™ Ultra cab, now quieter at just 68 dB, with improved suspension and isolation for minimal vibration. A 260° front wiper, enhanced LED lighting, and redesigned steps improve daily usability. Comfort touches include an overhead locker, hand-wash tank, and integrated tool storage.

The cab integrates the IntelliView™ 12 touchscreen and new New Holland Intelligence™ software, which replaces PLM Intelligence. Connectivity Included enables real-time machine monitoring, data synchronization with FieldOps™, and remote dealer diagnostics for proactive support.
