Massey Ferguson, part of AGCO, has officially launched the new 5M Series utility tractors in North America. Designed for everyday farming and municipal tasks, the 5M lineup is engineered to boost productivity, reduce operator fatigue, and deliver long-term reliability. With models ranging from 105 to 145 horsepower, the series fills the gap between lighter utility tractors and heavier-duty machines, making it a versatile choice for livestock operations, hay handling, loader work, and roadside mowing.
Key Specifications & Features
Power & Configurations
The 5M Series includes four models: 105, 115, 135, and 145 HP. Buyers can choose between cab or open-platform setups, two chassis sizes, and either a 12×12 mechanical transmission or the Dyna-4™ semi-powershift, which offers 16 forward and reverse speeds, automatic shifting modes, and a Brake-to-Neutral function that simplifies loader operation.
Performance & Hydraulics
The larger-frame models (135 and 145 HP) provide up to 11,500 pounds of lift capacity, ideal for heavy implements and loader work. Hydraulic options include an open-center system with standard dual gear pumps and an optional 100 liters per minute combined flow to handle more demanding attachments. PTO versatility comes from a three-speed setup: 540, 540E, and 1000 rpm.
Engine & Emissions
All models are powered by a 4.4-liter AGCO Power four-cylinder Stage V engine, delivering strong torque across the lineup. The compact emissions system improves fuel efficiency and keeps maintenance simple with extended service intervals. A 52-gallon fuel tank supports long workdays without frequent refueling.
Operator Comfort
Massey Ferguson put a strong emphasis on operator experience. The cab features upgraded HVAC, a flat floor, ergonomic controls, and noise reduction. Options include an air-suspended swivel seat, cab suspension, Visio™ roof for loader visibility, and LED work lighting. These improvements earned the 5M Series a 2025 Red Dot Award for Product Design.
Precision & Connectivity
For operators seeking technology without complexity, the 5M Series comes ISOBUS Light-ready, Auto-Guide™-ready, and includes TaskDoc® Basic for field documentation and input tracking. Higher-end options such as FieldStar 5 touch display, MF Guide, and MF Connect telemetry are also available.
Market Availability
The MF 5M Series is available to order now in North America, with first deliveries expected in early 2026.
