MAMMOTION LUBA 3 AWD

MAMMOTION Unveils LUBA 3 AWD and Expands Autonomous Mower Lineup at CES 2026

MAMMOTION has used CES 2026 to introduce the next generation of its autonomous robotic lawn mowers, marking a clear shift toward fully wireless, AI driven and low maintenance lawn care. The centerpiece of the launch is the new LUBA 3 AWD, supported by updated compact models designed for smaller and more complex residential gardens.

LUBA 3 AWD robotic mower targets large and demanding lawns

The LUBA 3 AWD becomes MAMMOTION’s new flagship robotic mower for 2026. It is engineered for large properties and technically challenging terrain, including steep slopes, uneven ground and multi zone layouts. The platform is built around an all wheel drive architecture with four independent motors and an adaptive chassis capable of handling extreme gradients and obstacles typically found on semi professional lawns and large private estates.

A major step forward is the new Tri Fusion navigation system. It combines 360 degree LiDAR scanning, NetRTK positioning and AI based visual recognition into a single navigation stack. This setup allows the mower to build a live 3D map of its environment and operate without a physical boundary wire. Setup and zone definition are handled directly through the mobile app, significantly reducing installation time compared to traditional RTK base stations or wired systems.

Dual high resolution cameras supported by a dedicated AI processor enable real time object recognition and obstacle avoidance. According to the manufacturer, the system can identify hundreds of object types, including pets, toys, garden furniture and high risk areas such as pool edges or sudden drops.

LUBA 3 AWD Specs

The following specifications are confirmed by the manufacturer at launch:

  • Maximum working area up to 1 hectare depending on version.
  • All wheel drive with four independent motors.
  • Maximum slope capability up to 80 percent.
  • Cutting width approximately 40 cm.
  • Dual cutting discs with six blades per disc.
  • Battery capacity 15 Ah.
  • Claimed positioning accuracy up to ±1 cm using LiDAR and NetRTK.
  • Wireless setup without boundary wire.

No additional drivetrain, battery chemistry or charging time data has been officially published at this stage.

Compact robotic mowers for urban and multi zone gardens

Alongside the flagship model, MAMMOTION expanded its compact range with the LUBA mini 2 AWD and YUKA mini 2 series. These mowers are designed for lawns up to around 1,000 square meters and focus on maneuverability in tight urban gardens and multi zone residential properties.

The LUBA mini 2 AWD brings all wheel drive traction into a smaller chassis while retaining wireless navigation and AI assisted obstacle detection. Edge cutting has been improved with a side mounted mini blade system aimed at reducing manual trimming.

The YUKA mini 2 series offers two navigation variants depending on garden complexity, including a full LiDAR and vision fusion option and a camera based AI solution for standard residential use. A simplified DropMow mode allows the mower to start cutting immediately where it is placed, targeting users who prefer a minimal setup process.

Intelligent energy management and 2026 availability

All newly announced models share a revised energy management system that allows users to control charging limits and schedule charging during off peak electricity hours. This feature is aimed at extending battery lifespan and reducing operating costs in regions with dynamic power pricing.

The LUBA 3 AWD launches in the EU and UK from January 5, 2026, with prices starting at approximately €2,299. The LUBA mini 2 AWD enters pre order at around €1,499 with deliveries expected from February 2026. Selected YUKA mini 2 models are available immediately, with additional configurations following later in the year. North American availability will be announced separately.
