Mahindra Tractors has refreshed its flagship NOVO tractor range with a series of premium upgrades, celebrating 11 years since the series first hit the market. The enhancements focus on operator comfort, precision farming capability, and heavy-duty performance across the 49 to 74 horsepower segment.
Expanded Technology Package
The NOVO lineup now benefits from Creeper Gear Mode, allowing ultra-low operating speeds of 0.3–0.4 km/h, ideal for tasks such as onion planting, banana mulching, and other precision crop operations. Mahindra has also introduced mBoost technology, which provides three selectable drive modes—Diesel Saver, Normal, and Power—enabling operators to balance fuel efficiency with performance depending on field conditions.
Complementing these features is the MahaLIFT hydraulic system, now rated to lift 2,700–2,900 kg depending on model. A “QLift” button-based system simplifies heavy implement operation, while Smart Balancer technology reduces engine noise and vibration, improving operator comfort during long shifts.
Connectivity and Monitoring
Mahindra has carried forward its investment in digital technology with DigiSense 4G telematics. The system enables farmers to remotely monitor fuel use, field coverage, trips, and overall performance via smartphones. Geofencing functionality ensures the tractor remains within designated operational boundaries, supporting both security and controlled management.
Comfort and Safety Upgrades
The refreshed series includes a factory-fitted safety and comfort package. Options include ROPS safety structures, auxiliary valve support for hydraulic implements, fiber canopy protection, and captain seats with four-way adjustment and armrests.
A metallic red finish is now standard for all tractors above 50 HP, and Mahindra has extended its warranty coverage to six years across the entire NOVO lineup.
Model Range
The NOVO family continues to feature four core models: NOVO 605 DI PS, NOVO 605 DI PP, NOVO 655 DI PP, and NOVO 755 DI PP, each available in both 2WD and 4WD versions. Engine tuning across the range emphasizes strong maximum and backup torque to support a wide variety of implements, from ploughs and tillers to sowing and transport applications.
