Mahindra has officially launched the new YuvoTech+ 585 DI V1 across India, introducing an upgraded version of one of its most popular utility tractors with the company’s new mBULL engine. Available in both 2WD and 4WD configurations, the latest model is designed to deliver higher pulling power, stronger backup torque, and improved fuel efficiency while maintaining the proven versatility of the YuvoTech+ platform. The tractor is backed by Mahindra’s industry leading 6-year warranty and is now available through the company’s nationwide dealer network.
New mBULL Engine
The headline upgrade is Mahindra’s newly developed high cubic capacity mBULL engine, which has been engineered to improve performance under demanding field conditions. According to the manufacturer, the new powerplant delivers 30% backup torque, allowing the tractor to maintain momentum more effectively when operating heavy tillage implements, hauling trailers, or working in difficult soil conditions. This additional reserve torque should reduce engine lugging and minimize gear changes during high load applications, helping operators maintain productivity throughout the working day.

Built for Daily Farm Operations
Rather than redesigning the tractor from the ground up, Mahindra has focused on improving the powertrain while retaining the drivetrain and hydraulic system that have made the YuvoTech+ series popular among Indian farmers. The combination of a 2,000 kg lift capacity, constant mesh transmission, and power steering makes the tractor suitable for cultivation, seedbed preparation, planting, spraying, PTO driven implements, and transport work.
The addition of the mBULL engine is particularly significant because it targets real world field performance rather than headline horsepower. Increased backup torque helps maintain engine speed under load, which can improve operating efficiency when working with heavy implements or in variable soil conditions. This approach reflects a growing trend among manufacturers to optimize torque characteristics and fuel economy instead of simply increasing peak power output.
