Mahindra Tractors has introduced a Republic Day themed Limited Edition version of its Yuvo Tech+ 585 DI 4WD tractor, featuring three tricolour inspired finishes designed to reinforce brand identity and customer emotional engagement in the domestic market.
The tractors will be offered in Metallic Orange, Everest White, and Metallic Green, with the green variant bundled with exclusive accessories such as a rope, jerrican, and Mahindra flag. Availability is restricted to select dealerships in India starting January 26, positioning the model as a short run commemorative product rather than a mass production variant.
Mahindra Yuvo Tech+ 585 DI 4WD technical specifications and positioning
The Limited Edition tractors are based on the existing Yuvo Tech+ 585 DI 4WD platform and retain the core mechanical specification of the standard production model.
Key technical highlights include:
- Four cylinder diesel engine with maximum PTO output of 33.9 kW (45.4 hp).
- Peak torque of 215 Nm with 18 percent torque backup for load response under draft conditions.
- Hydraulic lift capacity of 2000 kg, suitable for mid size implements in tillage, planting, and haulage.
- Dual clutch system with MSPTO and auxiliary hydraulic valve.
- 12 forward and 3 reverse transmission for operational flexibility across field and transport tasks.
- Power steering to reduce operator fatigue during extended field operations.
- Front tyres 9.5 x 20 and rear tyres 14.9 x 28, targeting balanced traction and stability in mixed soil conditions.
Mahindra positions the Yuvo Tech+ series as a next generation utility tractor platform for mixed farming, livestock operations, and general agricultural work in the 45 hp segment, where demand is driven by versatility and cost efficiency rather than specialization.
Limited Edition tractors as a branding and retail strategy
The launch reflects a broader industry trend in India where manufacturers use commemorative editions to strengthen emotional brand connection and drive showroom traffic during key national events. Mechanically unchanged special editions allow brands to maintain production efficiency while adding perceived value through design and accessories.
