Mahindra Tractors has announced that its Arjun series will now come with a standard six-year warranty, underscoring the company’s confidence in the durability and performance of this long-standing product line. The move coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Arjun range, first introduced in 2000.
The Arjun series has become one of India’s most trusted higher-horsepower tractor families, catering to both agricultural producers and heavy haulage operators. Current models are offered in both 2WD and 4WD configurations, with power outputs reaching up to 60 horsepower. These machines are powered by Mahindra’s mDI and CRDe four-cylinder engine technologies, known for delivering high torque and fuel efficiency across a range of demanding conditions.
Key engineering highlights of the Arjun tractors include constant mesh transmission with dual clutch technology, strong backup torque for heavy-duty tasks, and advanced PTO and hydraulic systems. These features make the series well-suited for intensive applications such as land preparation, deep tillage, puddling, sugarcane transport, and harvesting. Mahindra reports that more than 250,000 farmers across India currently rely on the Arjun lineup.
The portfolio today consists of five models designed to meet diverse farming needs, from first-time tractor buyers to large-scale operations requiring robust and reliable equipment.
