Kubota Free Two-Year Orange Protection Warranty

Kubota Adds Free Two-Year Orange Protection Warranty to Select M Series Tractors

Kubota is giving U.S. buyers of selected M Series tractors an additional ownership incentive, offering a two-year Orange Protection Program Extended Warranty at no extra cost for a limited time.

The promotion applies to eligible new Kubota M5, M6, M6S and selected M Series specialty tractors purchased through participating dealers. Kubota’s current U.S. promotional pages list the offer through September 30, 2026, although eligibility depends on the specific model, dealer inventory and transaction terms.

The warranty component is significant because it extends factory-backed protection beyond the tractor’s original Kubota Limited Warranty rather than replacing it with a third-party service contract. Kubota administers the Orange Protection Program directly, and covered repairs are completed through authorized dealers using genuine Kubota parts.

Two Extra Years of Coverage

For qualifying machines, Kubota is adding two years of Orange Protection extended warranty coverage without an additional charge.

The promotion covers several important parts of Kubota’s mid-range agricultural tractor lineup. The M5 and M6 family includes machines ranging from roughly 92.5 hp to more than 140 hp, while the M6S is centered around the 114 hp class. Kubota also markets specialized M Series configurations for applications such as orchards, vineyards, vegetable production and operations requiring reduced tractor height or increased crop clearance.

For example, Kubota currently lists the M5-091 at 92.5 hp, the M5-111 at 105.6 hp and the M6-141 at 141.4 hp. Its M Narrow lineup includes the 92.5 hp M5N-092 and 105.7 hp M5N-112 models.

That makes the promotion relevant to machines expected to accumulate substantial working hours in loader work, livestock operations, hay production, specialty crops and other commercial agricultural applications.

Kubota Orange Protection Program

The Orange Protection Program is Kubota’s factory-backed extended warranty program for eligible equipment. Under the standard program, owners can normally purchase an additional one or two years of coverage before the original Basic Warranty expires.

Rather than introducing a separate set of warranty rules, Orange Protection generally extends the conditions, inclusions and exclusions of the applicable Kubota Limited Warranty into the extended period.

According to Kubota, key features:

  • extension of Basic and Powertrain coverage where applicable;
  • no deductible for covered repairs;
  • administration directly by Kubota;
  • repairs using genuine Kubota parts;
  • service through authorized Kubota Extended Warranty dealers;
  • transferable coverage if the machine is sold during the warranty period;
  • financing availability when the warranty is purchased with eligible equipment.

Kubota’s 2026 product documentation also describes Orange Protection as a factory-backed program that can extend equipment protection for one or two additional years while maintaining comprehensive coverage without deductibles.

The transferability provision can also matter in the used-equipment market. If a tractor changes ownership while Orange Protection remains active, the coverage stays with the machine for the purchased duration rather than ending automatically with the original owner’s sale.

Warranty Limits Still Apply

Orange Protection should not be interpreted as unlimited mechanical coverage.

Kubota states that the same applicable conditions, inclusions and exclusions of its Limited Warranty continue into the extended period. Certain wear-related components, including bucket teeth, bucket cutting edges, tires and tracks, are excluded from extended warranty coverage. Separate operating-hour limits can also apply depending on the machine and warranty configuration.

Model eligibility is another important detail. Kubota specifies that Orange Protection availability depends on the tractor, equipment type and application, and the program must normally be purchased before the original Basic Warranty expires.

For the current promotion, buyers should therefore confirm the exact model, warranty duration and hour limits with an authorized Kubota dealer before completing the purchase.

M Series Promotion Ends September 30

Kubota’s current U.S. offers for M5 and M6 tractors combine the two-year Orange Protection warranty with several financing or cash-purchase options.

Kubota lists 0 percent APR financing on qualifying transactions as well as alternative standard-rate financing and cash discounts on selected machines. Promotional combinations and eligibility vary, and cash rebates generally cannot be combined with the 0 percent financing program. The current offers expire September 30, 2026.

Specialty tractor promotions follow a similar structure. Kubota currently advertises the additional two-year Orange Protection coverage on M Narrow, M Low Pro and M6H High Clearance tractors, also with a September 30 expiration date.

From an ownership-cost perspective, the extended warranty is particularly relevant on agricultural tractors because many expensive components, including transmissions, hydraulic systems, electronically controlled engines and emissions hardware, can remain in service well beyond the initial warranty period. The value of the promotion ultimately depends on the model’s specific coverage and operating-hour limits, but eliminating the normal cost of purchasing the extra warranty gives buyers a measurable addition to Kubota’s existing financing incentives.
