ISEKI Japan has announced that its Agri JAPAN Festa 2026 exhibition will take place from June 12 to June 14 at the company’s Kanto Koshinetsu headquarters in Ami, Ibaraki Prefecture. The event will serve as the public debut of the new JAPAN Series product lineup, including the BJ tractors, PJ rice transplanters, and HJ combine harvesters.
The exhibition is expected to attract farmers, contractors, and machinery enthusiasts from across Japan, with a strong focus on the next generation of ISEKI’s flagship agricultural equipment. Alongside machinery displays, visitors will be able to attend product presentations, equipment demonstrations, and agricultural technology showcases, including drone flight demonstrations.
New ISEKI BJ Tractor Series Debuts
The biggest attraction of the event will likely be the launch of the new BJ tractor series.
According to information released by ISEKI, the lineup will include four models:
- BJ65
- BJ74
- BJ90
- BJ105
The model names indicate power ratings of approximately 65 hp, 74 hp, 90 hp, and 105 hp respectively. At this stage, ISEKI has not published detailed technical specifications, transmission details, hydraulic performance figures, or engine information for the new tractors. The company has primarily highlighted the redesigned exterior, updated cab interior, improved operator controls, and a newly developed transmission concept that will be demonstrated during the launch event.
The BJ series represents the next evolution of ISEKI’s domestic tractor range and appears aimed at professional operators seeking greater comfort, modern controls, and improved productivity in medium and large scale farming operations.
PJ Rice Transplanters Target Professional Growers
ISEKI will also showcase its new PJ rice transplanter range.
While full specifications of the newly announced PJ models have not yet been released, existing PR and PRJ series machines provide an indication of the technology direction. Current flagship models offer six and eight row configurations, GPS assisted steering functions, automatic headland turning, diesel engines up to 24.5 hp, fertilizer application systems, and automated planting controls designed to reduce operator fatigue and improve planting accuracy.
The PJ launch demonstrates ISEKI’s continued focus on Japan’s rice production sector, where labor shortages are driving demand for increasingly automated field equipment.
HJ Combines Highlight Harvest Technology
The HJ combine harvester series will be another major attraction at the exhibition.
ISEKI’s current HJ lineup includes six and seven row models powered by 130 hp common rail turbocharged diesel engines. The machines feature the company’s Twin Eight threshing system, advanced automatic controls, large grain tanks, and integrated ICT functions for machine monitoring and yield management.
Higher specification HJ models can also collect yield and grain moisture data during harvest, helping growers generate field performance maps and make more informed fertilizer and crop management decisions for future seasons.
Live Demonstrations Planned
Beyond static displays, visitors will be able to watch machinery demonstrations in field conditions.
ISEKI has confirmed demonstrations of transplanting equipment and agricultural drones, including NTT drone technology. The event will also feature agricultural equipment suppliers, tire demonstrations, local agricultural products, and limited edition ISEKI merchandise. The company will host dedicated product launch presentations twice daily, allowing visitors to learn more about the engineering and technology behind the new JAPAN Series machines.
Market Significance
The launch comes at an important time for Japan’s agricultural machinery industry.
As the farming population continues to age and labor availability declines, manufacturers are increasingly focusing on automation, operator assistance systems, and precision farming technologies. The new BJ, PJ, and HJ machines appear to be part of ISEKI’s strategy to modernize its domestic lineup while maintaining its strong position in Japan’s rice and specialty crop markets.
