The Newark Vintage Tractor & Heritage Show returns November 8–9 2025, bringing one of Britain’s largest gatherings of classic tractors, stationary engines, and historic farm machinery. Held at Newark Showground in Nottinghamshire, the event attracts thousands of enthusiasts, collectors, and engineers from across the country.
Major Highlights of the 2025 Show
Anniversary celebrations for legendary brands
This year’s show honors milestone anniversaries including 100 years of Caterpillar, 80 years of the Field Marshall Series One, 80 years of the Fordson Major E27N, and 60 years of Zetor imports into the UK. Visitors will also see tributes to Cummins and Gardner engines.
Exhibits and trade stands
More than 900 exhibitors are expected to display restored tractors, commercial vehicles, stationary engines, and horticultural machines. Dozens of trade stands will offer spare parts, restoration components, and vintage memorabilia for collectors and restorers.
Live auction and Sunday “Sort-out”
Saturday’s live auction, hosted by Brown & Co, remains a fan favorite, giving visitors a chance to bid on rare tractors and components. On Sunday, the Sort-out market opens to the public – a treasure-hunt opportunity for finding those hard-to-get vintage pieces.
Weekend facilities and family atmosphere
The show opens 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Visitors can stay on-site all weekend with access to camping facilities, showers, and electrical hookups, making it ideal for exhibitors and families alike.
Technical-Review Perspective
For agricultural engineers and restoration professionals, the Newark show offers a rare look at mechanical evolution spanning nearly a century. You can examine original power units, transmissions, and linkage systems that shaped modern tractor design. The curated anniversary exhibits provide insights into mechanical innovation – from Caterpillar’s pioneering tracked tractors to Fordson’s post-war engineering breakthroughs.
Beyond the nostalgia, the event serves as a networking hub for restorers, machinists, and collectors seeking authentic components and technical expertise.
