Fendt will make a major appearance at LAMMA 2026, presenting four new tractor ranges during the UK’s largest agricultural machinery exhibition, set to take place at the NEC Birmingham on January 14–15, 2026. The German manufacturer will showcase the updated 700 Vario Gen7.1, the new 800 Vario Gen5, a preview of the 500 Vario Gen4, and the fourth-generation 1000 Vario.
700 Vario Gen7.1 Gains Full DynamicPerformance Boost
The headline debut will be the updated 700 Vario Gen7.1, now featuring Fendt’s DynamicPerformance (DP) power-management system across the entire range. The 720, 722, 724, and 726 models all receive an additional 20 hp boost — a feature previously exclusive to the 728.
This brings total output between 203 and 303 horsepower, neatly bridging the gap between the compact 600 Vario and the larger 800 Vario series. The 724 and 726 models have also been approved for 60 km/h transport speed, enhancing versatility for operators switching between fieldwork and road travel.
New 800 Vario Gen5 Introduces VarioDrive and Higher Power
The new 800 Vario Gen5 arrives with three models (260–343 hp), each equipped with a 23 hp DynamicPerformance boost. The entire series adopts Fendt’s single-stage VarioDrive drivetrain, which delivers permanent, independent four-wheel drive and automatic torque distribution without manual shifting.
This innovation, already proven on Fendt’s 1000 Vario flagship, maximizes traction efficiency and fuel economy while improving handling between field and road operations.
500 Vario Gen4 Preview Set for UK Market
Fendt will also preview the 500 Vario Gen4, ahead of its UK launch in 2026. The range includes four models (513–516) offering 134–164 hp plus a 10 hp DP boost. Like the larger tractors, the 500 series now features VarioDrive for enhanced traction and operator comfort.
Weighing only 11.75 tonnes and delivering a 4.9-tonne payload, the new 500 Vario is a true multi-role tractor — ideal for seeding operations, grassland work and light transport tasks thanks to its balanced power-to-weight ratio and flexible ballasting options.
1000 Vario Gen4 Remains Fendt’s Flagship Powerhouse
At the top of the range is the 1000 Vario Gen4, offering 426 to 550 hp across four models (1040–1052). It continues to serve as Fendt’s benchmark for high-horsepower applications, combining massive torque, VarioDrive technology and precision control for heavy draft work and large-scale operations.
FendtOne Technology Zone Highlights Connected Farming
In addition to the new machines, Fendt will dedicate a section of its stand to the FendtOne operating ecosystem, which links machines with farm management systems for synchronized planning and data exchange. Visitors can explore interactive demos on task reporting, wireless map transfer and machine coordination across fleets.
Fendt emphasizes that modern performance is no longer measured solely in horsepower — but in how intelligently that power is managed through digital integration and connected operations.
