Giants Software is taking its flagship agricultural simulation to the next level with Farming Simulator: Signature Edition, launching exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 on December 9, 2025. Designed for both professional simulation fans and newcomers to the franchise, this edition introduces over 400 fully licensed machines from 150 global brands, including John Deere, Case IH, Fendt, and Mercedes-Benz.
The Signature Edition builds upon the franchise’s detailed simulation physics and implements improved vehicle dynamics, crop growth modeling, and lighting effects optimized for the new Nintendo hardware.
New Mercedes-Benz Trucks Pack Expands Heavy Equipment Lineup
A standout feature of this release is the Mercedes-Benz Trucks Pack, developed in collaboration with Daimler Truck AG. The pack adds 17 new vehicles, including iconic models such as the Unimog and MB-trac, expanding the game’s capabilities in both transport and field logistics. This addition complements existing tractor and harvester fleets, allowing players to manage complete farm-to-market operations.
Three New Global Environments with Distinct Farming Conditions
Players will operate across three distinct regions, each offering unique challenges and crop types:
- North America – expansive fields and open river valleys ideal for large machinery.
- Central Europe – rolling meadows, mixed forestry, and traditional farming setups.
- East Asia – rice paddies and humid, green landscapes introducing new crop types and irrigation systems.
With support for 25 different crops, including grains, root vegetables, and rice, the game broadens its agricultural realism far beyond previous versions. Forestry, construction, and on-farm retail activities have also been integrated, offering a full-cycle simulation experience.
Exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2 with Enhanced Performance
Optimized for the Switch 2 platform, Farming Simulator: Signature Edition benefits from improved graphics, faster loading, and more dynamic environmental rendering. Giants Software’s focus on realism continues to position the franchise as a benchmark in digital agricultural simulation — not just for gamers, but for anyone fascinated by modern machinery and precision farming systems.
Pre-orders are now open via the Nintendo eShop ahead of the official release on December 9, 2025.
