Dschinni Evolution is confirmed for Tractor Pulling Sonsbeck 2026, adding one of Germany’s most distinctive Super Stock machines to the three-day event scheduled for September 4 through 6 in Sonsbeck, Germany.
Organizer Trecker Treck Team Sonsbeck announced the return of Dschinni this week as it continues to reveal competitors ahead of the event. The pulling action will take place on the track at Lichtweg, with competition beginning Friday evening and continuing throughout Saturday and Sunday.
Dschinni Evolution Specs
Dschinni Evolution is based visually on a Deutz-Allis 9170, but almost everything underneath has been transformed for Super Stock tractor pulling.
The German-built machine competes in the Super Stock class and is operated by Tractor Pulling Team Dschinni from Everswinkel. Thomas Mathmann and Clemens Mathmann are listed as its drivers.
Published specifications put output at more than 3,500 horsepower from a heavily modified inline six-cylinder engine. The engine is listed at 9.5 liters, runs on methanol and can reach approximately 5,200 rpm. Four Holset HX82 turbochargers are arranged in a two-stage configuration producing around 6 bar of boost pressure.
That combination makes Dschinni particularly interesting in a field where familiar agricultural identities often survive only in the bodywork. The Deutz-Allis appearance remains immediately recognizable, while the drivetrain underneath has essentially become purpose-built motorsport hardware.
Super Stock With Deutz Power
The machine also stands out because of the engine philosophy behind it. Dschinni Evolution has long been described within the German pulling scene as an unusual Super Stock built around Deutz power rather than one of the more commonly seen configurations in the class. Its family team is known for developing and manufacturing a substantial amount of the tractor itself.
Earlier published specifications for the tractor listed approximately 3,000 hp and noted German championship titles in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, illustrating how long the Dschinni project has been competing at a high level while continuing to evolve.
For spectators, that history matters almost as much as the horsepower. Tractor pulling fields can contain machines with spectacular numbers, but recognizable tractors with a long competitive identity tend to generate a different response from the crowd. Dschinni has both.
Sonsbeck 2026 Schedule
Tractor Pulling Sonsbeck runs from September 4 through September 6, 2026.
Friday competition begins at 6 p.m., while Saturday and Sunday programs start at 10 a.m. The official DTTO calendar also lists Sonsbeck as part of the 2026 German tractor pulling schedule.
The weekend stretches beyond a conventional national pulling meet. Sonsbeck is scheduled to host two Euro Cup classes, including Pro Stock and the 4.5-ton Super Sport category, bringing European-level competition into the program. The European Tractor Pulling Committee separately lists Sonsbeck on its 2026 schedule for September 5.
Farm classes are also part of the event, although organizers have capped those categories at 15 tractors per class, and registrations were already reported full ahead of the event.
Why Dschinni Matters at Sonsbeck
Dschinni Evolution is exactly the type of entry that strengthens an event such as Sonsbeck.
A 3,500-plus-hp tractor is impressive on paper, but the greater attraction is the engineering contrast. The machine still carries the visual identity of a Deutz-Allis farm tractor while using methanol, four large turbochargers and boost pressure that belongs firmly in competition machinery.
That connection between agricultural hardware and extreme motorsport is one of tractor pulling’s strongest advantages as a spectator sport. Dschinni demonstrates it particularly well because visitors do not need to be pulling specialists to recognize where the machine started.
Sonsbeck is also positioned at an interesting point in the season. With Euro Cup competition included and the German calendar moving toward its final events, the September weekend carries sporting significance beyond exhibition runs and crowd entertainment.
Trecker Treck Team Sonsbeck
Trecker Treck Team Sonsbeck organizes the event and also maintains its own collection of pulling tractors. Its current website lists seven machines under the team banner: 8 Dreams, Life Power, Giftzwerg, Black Pearl, Mein Freund, Airbus One and Enjoy The Limits.
The scale of the Sonsbeck event extends well beyond the physical venue. According to the organizer, its 2025 livestream reached nearly 12,000 viewers at points during the weekend, and the broadcast returns for the 2026 event.
General admission for 2026 is listed at €10 Friday, €25 Saturday and €20 Sunday, with a three-day combination ticket priced at €40. Children through age 10 receive free admission, while visitors ages 11 through 16 pay half price.
With three days of competition, national classes, two Euro Cup categories and established Super Stock machines such as Dschinni Evolution, Sonsbeck has developed into considerably more than a regional farm tractor pull. Its 2026 lineup puts it firmly among the notable late-season tractor pulling events on the German calendar.
