As the 2025 harvest season nears completion with record yields, CLAAS is doubling down on its North American operations through new dealership expansions and multimillion-dollar investments in its Omaha, Nebraska, headquarters. The company’s strategy underscores its long-term commitment to local service, customer proximity, and agricultural innovation.
CLAAS FARMPOINT™ Expands Across the Midwest
Beginning in 2026, CLAAS FARMPOINT™ will open two full-service dealerships in Atlantic, Iowa, and Mitchell, South Dakota, extending coverage across some of the most productive agricultural zones in the U.S.
In Atlantic, CLAAS FARMPOINT™ will take over combine support previously managed by Ziegler Ag, while the Mitchell branch will serve customers transitioning from Butler Machinery Company. Both sites will carry the full CLAAS lineup, including LEXION and TRION combines, JAGUAR forage harvesters, and AXION, ARION, and XERION tractors.
Additionally, CLAAS is preparing to launch a new grower-support location in Aberdeen, South Dakota, with an announcement expected in early 2026. To further enhance service efficiency, a new regional support hub in northwest Minnesota will provide on-site parts and faster service response during peak seasons.
“The CLAAS FARMPOINT™ model is built around service, flexibility, and farmer convenience,” said Patricio Frangella, Head of Commercial Development. “We’re proud to strengthen our ties to the Midwest and provide around-the-clock local expertise to keep farmers running.”
HJV Adds New CLAAS Dealership in Ontario
In Canada, HJV Equipment has expanded its reach with a new location in Winchester, Ontario, officially opened on September 24, 2025. The event drew more than 400 local farmers and industry representatives.
Located in the heart of “tractor alley,” the Winchester branch provides much-needed in-person support for the region’s agricultural producers. “It’s been great to see who pops in to check out the new store,” said Steve Gibson, HJV Location Manager. “This is a key region for Ontario agriculture, and the enthusiasm we’ve seen reflects that.”
Major Omaha Investments in R&D and Customer Experience
In August 2025, CLAAS broke ground on a new 44,800-square-foot Research and Development Center in Omaha, which will become the hub for all North American testing and engineering operations. The two-story facility will include expanded instrumentation areas and secure prototype-testing zones to support future product innovation.
Looking ahead to 2026, CLAAS plans to further enhance its Omaha campus with a Customer Experience Center, designed to host training sessions, product demonstrations, and direct interactions with farmers and dealers. Completion is targeted for June 2026.
“CLAAS is a partner you can rely on,” said Jan-Hendrik Mohr, CEO of CLAAS Group. “We are fully committed to the U.S. market and will continue to grow, investing across our entire value chain—from retail and service to R&D and customer engagement.”
