Decatur, Ill. | August 2025 — Case IH gave farmers plenty to talk about at this year’s Farm Progress Show, unveiling its top-of-the-line Steiger 785 Quadtrac not only in the brand’s iconic red but also in a striking green color scheme more reminiscent of CLAAS.
The side-by-side display allowed visitors to compare the familiar red powerhouse with the bold green edition and debate which look fits the legendary Steiger better. Some attendees praised the fresh twist, while others said the classic Case IH red remains unmatched.
Beyond the paint, the Steiger 785 continues to deliver unmatched performance for large-scale farming. Equipped with the brand’s proven Quadtrac system and built for up to 700+ horsepower applications, it combines massive pulling power with advanced precision ag technology for today’s toughest fieldwork.
Steiger Legacy
Since its origins in the 1950s and later integration into Case IH, the Steiger line has defined high-horsepower 4WD tractors. The 785 represents the peak of this evolution, built for strength, traction, and efficiency in the most demanding operations.
Whether the green edition remains a one-time showpiece or paves the way for future special editions, one thing is certain: Case IH made sure the Steiger 785 was one of the most talked-about tractors at Farm Progress 2025.
