Branco Motores has brought a new compact utility tractor into focus with the BTD 25.0, a model positioned to handle a wide mix of agricultural and non agricultural workloads. The tractor was officially introduced during Agrishow 2026 in Brazil, one of the largest agricultural trade shows in Latin America, reinforcing its positioning toward a broad base of professional users.
Based on available information, the machine is clearly aimed at operators who need one platform to cover routine farm duties, light construction work, and general property maintenance.
At its core, the BTD 25.0 uses a three cylinder diesel engine paired with a straightforward mechanical layout. More specifically, it is equipped with a BD 153E engine rated at 24 hp (17.7 kW) at 2350 rpm, reinforcing its positioning in the light utility segment where efficiency and consistency are more important than peak output.
700 kg rear lift expands implement compatibility
One of the more relevant technical details is the rear hydraulic lift capacity rated at 700 kg. In practical terms, that puts the tractor firmly in the category where it can handle a broad range of Category 1 implements. The inclusion of a standard three point hitch configuration improves stability under load and ensures compatibility with commonly available attachments such as rotary cutters, plows, seeders, and light cultivation tools.
The hydraulic system delivers approximately 37.5 L per minute, which is sufficient for stable operation of rear mounted equipment in this class. PTO functionality is also aligned with real world use, offering 540 and 720 rpm speeds, allowing the tractor to operate standard implements without additional adaptation.
Mechanical simplicity supports reliability in field conditions
The emphasis on a simplified mechanical design is deliberate. In many operating environments, especially outside highly industrialized farming systems, reliability and serviceability take priority over advanced electronics. Fewer complex systems reduce the risk of downtime and make the tractor more accessible to operators who rely on in house maintenance rather than dealer networks.
This approach extends to the transmission. The BTD 25.0 uses a 6 forward and 2 reverse gear configuration, with a working speed range of approximately 2.0 to 21.5 km/h, providing flexibility across both fieldwork and transport tasks.
Fuel efficiency is another expected outcome of this configuration. The tractor carries a 28 liter fuel tank, which, combined with a three cylinder diesel engine, supports extended operation without frequent refueling.
Chassis setup supports mixed terrain use
From a structural standpoint, the tractor is built for practical field conditions. It offers approximately 434 mm of ground clearance, which is relevant for row crop work and uneven terrain. With an operating weight of around 1540 kg, the machine maintains a balance between stability and maneuverability.
The overall layout reflects a conventional compact tractor architecture, prioritizing traction, ease of use, and compatibility with standard agricultural setups.
Positioning reflects demand for value driven tractors
From a market perspective, the BTD 25.0 fits into a growing segment of value oriented tractors where the focus is on essential functionality delivered as standard equipment. Instead of relying on optional add ons, the machine appears configured to operate effectively out of the box.
That approach aligns with demand in emerging and mixed use markets, where buyers prioritize versatility, durability, and cost control over advanced feature sets.
