Beijing Startup Wins PepsiCo Greenhouse Accelerator With Autonomous Electric Tractors

Beijing AIForce Technology has been named the winner of PepsiCo’s 2025 Greenhouse Accelerator Program in Asia Pacific for its low-carbon, autonomous electric tractors designed to make farming more sustainable.

The company is still in early testing, but its tractors are built to run day and night using robotics and smart data tools. The machines aim to cut operating costs, ease labor shortages, and reduce emissions — challenges many farms in the region are facing.

As this year’s top startup, AIForce will receive $100,000 in funding, along with ongoing mentorship and the chance to pilot its technology within PepsiCo’s supply chain. Early trials on PepsiCo farms already suggest the tractors could lower both fuel costs and carbon output.

Now in its third year in Asia Pacific, the PepsiCo Greenhouse Accelerator backs startups focused on sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, and the circular economy. Each of the 10 finalists this year received $20,000 in grants, tailored coaching from PepsiCo executives, and access to PepsiCo’s global partner network.

PepsiCo leaders say the program is helping bring practical, scalable solutions to the field. “The real test of sustainability isn’t just the idea — it’s whether it works on the farm and in the market,” said Anne Tse, CEO of PepsiCo Asia Pacific.

For Beijing AIForce, the recognition is a major boost. “This program has been a game-changer,” said founder and CEO Dr. Han Wei. “The mentorship and connections have sharpened our strategy and opened doors to new opportunities.”

With PepsiCo’s support, the company is looking to accelerate development and expand the use of its electric tractors as part of the push toward more sustainable farming practices worldwide.
