Popular seeding technology manufacturer APV has introduced two new control terminals, Easy Control and Profi Control, expanding its portfolio of tractor mounted electronics for seeding, spreading, and small implement applications.
Easy Control is positioned as the successor to the long running APV 5.2 control box. The new terminal focuses on practical improvements that matter in everyday tractor use. Fewer cables in the cab simplify installation, while the updated interface delivers clearer menu navigation and faster access to key working parameters. Operators familiar with the previous 5.2 system can upgrade and retain workflow logic, but with improved readability and added intelligent functions that reduce setup time in the field.
Although Easy Control was previewed at Agritechnica, it remains in final development. APV confirms that a pre production series is already planned, with full scale production scheduled to follow shortly after.
Profi Control enables ISOBUS implements on non ISOBUS tractors
Alongside Easy Control, APV has unveiled Profi Control, a more advanced terminal designed specifically for farms and contractors operating mixed tractor fleets. Profi Control allows APV ISOBUS compatible implements to be used even when the tractor itself is not equipped with factory ISOBUS.
The system features a modern touch display with intuitive menu structure and a clear screen layout that shows all essential operating data at once. This approach is especially relevant for older tractors, secondary fleet machines, or shared equipment where full ISOBUS compatibility is not always available. For contractors, Profi Control reduces dependency on tractor specification and keeps implements productive across multiple machines.

Both terminals reflect a clear focus on practical tractor integration. Easy Control addresses simplicity, fast learning curves, and reduced cab clutter. Profi Control focuses on flexibility, enabling modern APV implements to work seamlessly behind a wider range of tractors. Together, they strengthen APV’s position in the segment between basic control boxes and full tractor integrated ISOBUS terminals.
