TYM Brand Origins
TYM Corporation began as TongYang Moolsan Co. Ltd in 1951, initially operating as an importer of foreign films. The company entered agricultural machinery manufacturing in 1973 with the construction of the Anyang Agriculture Machine Factory. Within six months of opening this facility, the company was listed on the Korean Stock Exchange.
The company’s first major agricultural product came in 1976 with rice-paddy cultivators featuring 8 hp engines.
